Nethype is a Shopify Plus Studio based in Poland. We build stores on Shopify and Shopify Plus for DTC brands worldwide - including MISBHV, OppoSuits, 16 Arlington, Cole & Mason, and Lana Banana. What sets us apart from other Shopify agencies: we're the creators of Wonder Theme, our own theme listed in the Shopify Theme Store with 5 presets for different verticals. That means we ship stores faster, more affordably, and more flexibly than agencies working on someone else's theme.
Nethype is a boutique Shopify Plus Studio from Poland. We're not a generalist digital agency. We don't do WordPress, we don't build mobile apps, we don't do branding. We do one thing - Shopify and Shopify Plus stores (we migrate, design, code for your business needs, and build custom solutions) - and we do it better than many other teams in the market.
We work with DTC brands that have traction and need a technology partner, not just a vendor. What our clients have in common: they treat the store as a product, not a brochure. Every UX decision, every integration, every millisecond of LCP gets analyzed against one metric - revenue.
We're based in Poland, but 70% of our clients are from Europe and US. We work with brands across the UK, US, Italy, Germany, and Scandinavia. Our clients include:
Every project is a different brief, a different vertical, a different target. But all of them share one denominator - Shopify Plus and our implementation framework built around Wonder Theme.
Our services break down into five areas. We don't try to be everything for everyone - each of these is something we do regularly and better than many other teams in Europe.
We run the full cycle: strategy workshop, UX, design, Liquid development, integrations, go-live. A typical project runs 6 to 14 weeks - depending on catalog complexity, integration count, and whether we go with a Wonder Theme preset or full custom design.
For most clients, we recommend the hybrid approach: start with one of the 5 Wonder Theme presets (saves 4-6 weeks) and customize it to the client's brandbook. That gets you 80% of the premium custom feel at 40% of the cost and half the time.
We migrate from Magento, WooCommerce, Shoper, IdoSell, PrestaShop, and other SaaS platforms. Every migration is open-heart surgery - most clients can't afford 24h of downtime, let alone losing SEO positions.
We know these technologies inside out, not from theory. For years we worked directly in WooCommerce, WordPress, and Magento - building stores, integrations, and custom modules in them. Two things came out of that experience. First, we know how to migrate without nasty surprises, because we know both sides from the inside - database structure, SEO nuances, the pitfalls of moving product variants. Second, at some point we saw that for most brands Shopify is simply a more optimal solution - lower total cost of ownership, less technical debt, faster shipping of new features. That's why we recommend Shopify today to clients where it makes business sense. Not because "that's what's done," but because we've actually tested both sides.
The typical industry-wide SEO drop in the first month after migration is ~20-30%. With our redirect mapping, clients see ~5-10% drops - with full recovery in ~2-3 months plus growth from improved Core Web Vitals.
This is the section where most European Shopify agencies fall short. UX is not an opinion. UX is a research-driven discipline - and there's one global standard that Amazon, Walmart, Adidas, eBay, and most of the Top 100 e-commerce sites in the world reference. That standard is Baymard Institute.
Baymard has been running user testing since 2009. Their database contains 71,000+ hours of recorded user research, tested on the world's largest online stores. From those hours, they've extracted 650+ specific guidelines for every element of a store - from the header, through categories, product page, cart, all the way to the thank-you page.
At Nethype, 2 team members have individual Baymard Institute certifications:
These aren't weekend-course certificates. Baymard Certification requires passing an exam covering their entire research database - from homepage heuristics, through the 13 stages of checkout flow, all the way to mobile usability guidelines. Less than 1% of UX designers globally hold this certification.
What this means for you as a client: the entire UX/UI and CRO design of Wonder Theme and all 5 presets was built on Baymard research. Every component - from navigation, through the product page, to the slide-out cart and checkout - was designed to meet the guidelines Baymard validated on Amazon, eBay, ASOS, Sephora, and hundreds of other brands.
We apply the same approach to every client project. Audits start with heuristics based on Baymard checklists. That covers:
This isn't "good advice from LinkedIn." This is the framework the world's largest stores use - and which, rare in our market, we actually use with certification.
LCP under 1.5s. INP under 200ms. CLS under 0.1. These are our benchmarks for every store we ship.
Why does it matter? Every additional second of load time costs around 7% of conversions. For a store doing €500k in annual revenue, optimizing LCP from 3s to 1.5s adds approximately €70k in annual revenue - without increasing ad spend.
Wonder Theme was built from the ground up around CWV. Lazy loading, deferred JavaScript, native image formats, critical CSS inline. Most of our stores hit 90+ in PageSpeed on desktop and 70+ on mobile - while keeping full premium theme functionality.
European brands increasingly launch with the EU, UK, and US in mind. We configure Shopify Markets - Shopify's native tool for multi-currency, multi-language, and localized checkout.
That covers: VAT OSS for the EU, GDPR compliance, integrations with local payment methods (Klarna in DE, iDEAL in NL, Bancontact in BE), translations, and geo-targeted content.
What sets us apart - Wonder Theme
This is the real difference between us and other European or US Shopify agencies.
Most agencies work on someone else's theme - like Dawn (Shopify free). That means their expertise ends where the theme's documentation ends. Customization beyond a certain point requires either hacking the code or rewriting it from scratch.
We built our own theme - Wonder Theme - and it's available in the official Shopify Theme Store. That means:

WONDER preset - beauty, skincare, and cosmetics. Killer feature: Before/After image slider. Perfect for brands that need to prove product results. The "Shop the Routine" section drives AOV through contextual cross-sell within the skincare ritual. Used for clients including Lana Banana.
VELOUR preset - fashion, luxury apparel, handbags, shoes, dresses, jewelry, watches. Killer feature: image-rich Mega Menu with lookbooks. Editorial layout with Vogue-style aesthetics. "Shop the Look" for complete outfits. Size guide modal that reduces returns. Built for premium fashion and accessory brands.
ROOT preset - wellness, supplements, sportswear, sport, and healthy lifestyle. Killer feature: FAQ on the product page, eliminating objections before the "buy" click. Built-in subscription widget that lifts customer LTV. Ingredient accordions for full transparency. Works perfectly for supplement brands, but also for sportswear stores, bike retailers, running gear, or yoga accessories — anywhere customers need specific specs and answers to technical questions before they commit to a purchase.
NOOK preset - furniture, interior accessories, handmade vases, ceramics. Killer feature: Image Hotspots ("Shop the Room") - click on any element in a room photo to see the price and product name. Editorial content blocks for lifestyle-driven brands. Works equally well for larger furniture stores and smaller handmade brands selling ceramics, candles, or textiles.
PETIT preset - DTC, one-product stores, hero launches. Killer feature: CRO-only layout with no distracting navigation. Perfect for brands with one flagship product - from beauty devices to supplements. Every section designed around one CTA: purchase.
All 5 presets share premium components: Shoppable Video (products fade in at timestamps), mobile-first design, EU translations (EN/FR/IT/DE/ES), slide-out cart, sticky cart, color swatches, mega menu, product badges. Price: $390 one-time license in the Shopify Theme Store.
Every project starts with a discovery workshop - 90 minutes of conversation about your business, customer target, current numbers, and 12-month plans. We don't send a proposal without it.
After the workshop, you get a concrete scope: number of sprints, milestones, deliverables, risks. We work in 2-week cycles - every two weeks you see progress on a live staging store, you can test, give feedback, change direction.
Each project is led by a senior PM (single point of contact), with a dedicated team: senior dev (Liquid + JS), UX/UI designer, and QA. Larger projects add a backend developer and an integrations specialist.
After go-live, we offer 30 days of support. From there you can move to a retainer model (guaranteed monthly hours) or ad-hoc. Many clients stay on retainer - because Shopify is a living platform with new editions, features, and optimization opportunities every month.
If what you're reading sounds like what you need - the fastest path is to see Wonder Theme with your own eyes. All 5 presets have demos in the Shopify Theme Store where you can click through every section, check mobile layout, and test Shoppable Video.

If you'd rather talk about a specific project - we offer a free consultation and quote. Write to info@nethype.co. The first 60 minutes is a conversation about your business, your current store, and your 12-month plans. No commitment, no sales pitch. After the call you'll get a concrete quote with a timeline - or honest feedback that we're not the right partner for you. We usually respond within 24h.
Yes. We're an official Shopify Partner and the creators of an approved theme in the Shopify Theme Store, which requires passing a rigorous code review by Shopify's team.
We don't publish fixed price ranges, because we approach every project individually - to optimize cost and timeline around your specific business needs. We prepare the quote after an initial consultation where we understand your brief, current store state, and 12-month goals. Write to info@nethype.co to book a free call and get a quote.
Most of our clients are mid-sized brands (€500k - €10M annual revenue). We also work with founders who are just launching and know where they're going.
Of course. Wonder Theme is available in the Shopify Theme Store for $390 (one-time license). It's a fully-featured premium theme you can use independently. Technical support for the theme itself is included in the license.
Polish and English - fully bilingual at every project stage. Most of our clients are non-Polish brands, so running projects in English is our daily reality.
Typical WooCommerce migration runs 6-8 weeks. Magento Enterprise - 10-14 weeks (more integrations, larger catalogs). Migrations from Shoper and IdoSell - 4-6 weeks. Every project starts with a technical audit that gives us precise estimates.
